Wow - that is really different!! I agree with Bama - I love the way you continued the colors from the plate pattern. I think grey would be good for grout too, or maybe light chocolate? I have "light chocolate" by TEC that I think would look fabulous on this piece.

very interesting, I was just drawing a mayan celestial dragon tonight and thinking how beautiful it would be in mosaic... are Dragons the the new theme? LOL

OH That is very pretty. Dragon is neat!! I suppose a navy blue grout would wipe out the blue tiles?

Yeap used the new saw. Oh and i love it. Have 3 more plates to cut for the bottom of the birdbath. oh light blue grout hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i will have to try that maybe. Well see when i'm done with the whole thing. Thanks for the nice comments. Oh and it was my first time using thinset.

Phew - Your last sentence sooooo relieved me. I was soooooooo worried about your adhesive - looked suspiciously like the ready mix stuff and I didn't know whether to comment or not. It's a BEAUTIFUL mosaic, and you've used that saw like a pro. Girlie, you are G.O.O.D. Mapei's Pearl Gray grout.

Wow, that is really different......don't think you could go wrong with either grey, black or terra cotta.......your cuts are so perfect............I have got to get a tile saw..............I really like this a lot......great job!

Wow that is really neat! I love the plate. You did a real good job cutting it. I like the idea of light blue grout or even the pearl grey. But of course I also vote for black and regular grey!!!! Cant wait to see it finished!

I got the plate off ebay and 3 others also that i will be using on the bottom of the birdbath.
