Ok Crafty_Lady I can FINALLY put you out of your misery!!! I did get the package on the 31st on my way to work. I had to work till 5 got home at 5:45 then had company at 6pm till 10:30 where I ended up having to go to the emergency pet clinic a town over to be with my son and his girlfriend whose dog was having a medical emergency and they didnt know if they could pay the bill .I got home at 2am from that....I am so sorry I had to make you wait.....For the record though..I put your gift out at our party last night (open fire pit outside) and everyone commented on how cool it was. I ended up using 2 tealights before I noticed it had been out awhile.

This is such a beautiful piece. I love the colors on it. She even included a wonderful letter on how she made it and he mishaps along the way. It is just too cool. I love the trinkets and plate pieces (oh and the star) that you include. I really just cannot put into words how much I love this!!!

The delivery came JUST as we were ready to head out in the camper for a long weekend with friends. I INSISTED on opening it (couldn't wait!) but really couldn't take time to take pics and post here. I'm so sorry for any worry about it's delivery. It's just in perfect shape... and I'm thrilled.
Will have to wait until tonight to read about everyone's gifts... we're headed to meet our new granddaughter born last night. :) Happiness is...

I saw those faces at a garage sale for a quarter and bought them because they reminded me of Slow's style. They were pins but I took off the back of them. As I told Chickee it was only fitting that I got her name because she helped me figure out the Morton cutting system and this was the first thing I made using it.
Bama...that's exactly what Colleen said when she came home from work and saw it...that it looked Mardi Gras-ish! I stepped out of my comfort zone when I made this but I was very happy with the way it came out.

You are so sweet Chickee...I'm kinda anxious to get my Christmas stuff put away too so I can put out mine and Colleen's gift for everyone to see. Only problem (ask Maria) is that I have a LOT of Christmas stuff out so it will take awhile to get it all packed away. LOL At least the outside stuff has been taken down and piled in the shed until spring when I can properly pack it away.

I found the base of your candleholder at Michaels in the candle aisle. I liked it because it was clear heavy glass. After I mosaiced the wooden top part, the bottom glass looked naked so of course I had to cover it too! I thought when I finished it that it kinda looks like a collar for the faces. I'm so happy you like it!

Kathy (TMG)- I'm finally gonna put you out of your misery!! I love it!!! I'm one of the few left that don't have internet at home so had to wait till I came to "work" to post. I absolutely love it! My daughter keeps saying "She cheated. No way she made that." Everytime she walks by you can hear her mumble "She cheated." I can't wait to get it hanging in the window. Absolutely perfect! I am bummed! I am about to have to give up my computer for two or three days for it to go the computer doctor, and my recipient hasn't recipped yet! If you don't hear from me right away, that is why. We had an "incident" which wiped out much of our computer files, a timed virus or something. Gotta go get it cleaned up so we don't send it on to anyone else. Thankfully, the most important thing, all my 2000 or so photos, were spared. Some are backed up, but many aren't. I'll be doing that this morning. And checking in here until the minute we have to unhook everything!

It's beautiful! It's done in shades of blue glass, some of it's irredescent. And to top it all off, She done put a picture of my fur babies in it. Yep, that's Beans and Taters in that there frame!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
