In awe

I was catching up here and started adding responses, then I realized that there are just too many lovely pieces since I last looked to comment on them all individually.

So I just want to say that I really love all your work and it keeps me inspired 'til I can get back to it myself.

On a side note, I spoke a stained glass artist in the mall today and asked her what she does with her "offcuts". She says she throws it out! I told her I'd be back as soon as I had a space set up to store some:)

I second that Greymom. I read everyone's posts every chance I can but no time to be posting individually. I'd comment on some pieces but I wouldn't want to leave someone out. They are ALL GREAT!

Calam - love your new room. Flagtruck's work area takes the cake.

I "third" that ! I have to pick my jaw off the keyboard daily when viewing all these mind blowing creations. You are all amazing artists and I am proud to be in your shadows. ( yeah, sounds like some sappy song, but it's true.)

Well hallelujah, amen. Isn't this a fun place, and the PACE that the pages are turning is amazing. Remember, HAZIE, when we first started here - there had been no activity for months, nay - a year. Phew - can't miss a day around here or you're lost. When I take a trip or a detour, as recently, and come back, I only read the first page, so I know I've missed a lot, but hey, there's just so many hrs. in the day, huh. And, OH, BTW - there are no shadows here - we're all in the light, on stage!

Yep Slow....I do remember. We were recruiting all the mosaic
people we could find in the Garden Junk forum, to join us over here. The forum has really grown. I was gone this weekend, and it took 2 hours to catch up on all the new posts.

Same here, like so many others, I am pressed for time right now and often don't comment - but y'all are so creative and I see so many beautiful things on here.

Hazel, go get those stained glass scraps! If you wait til you have a place to store it, it may be gone! Remember, it's glass so the heat and cold won't hurt it - maybe you can store it in a crawl space or attic? Under the bed?

I am cleaning off the porch in honor of the season and because visitors are coming. I have many 3'x4' sheets of beautiful stained glass. I went around to the side of the house opposite from the garage and parking area (the side no one ever sees) and I stacked about 25 sheets up against the fence (the garage is already full). My husband will be annoyed next time he mows.

We now have a clutter-free front porch and dining room table.

I am looking forward to 2008 and dragging everything back out again. He he he.

This forum is the best education one can get in mosaicing and stained glass. We've got so many wonderful teachers sharing their talents and knowledge of art here. THANK YOU ALL!!!
