We are remodeling our kitchen with new counter tops and cabinet doors.

A local cabinet maker is making the doors and we are taking care of the cabinet frames. The doors will be the European style which does not allow much of the frame to show, but we want the smoothest finish we can obtain.

Would you recommend using a brush or roller. and what material should be used for both - bristle, foam, etc.?

We are using Valspar latex white semi-gloss enamel.
