Style Stymied

Hello all. Trying to figure out what style I can zero in on for inspiration and when I look at all the wonderful pictures, I can't translate to my home.

LR/DR, I have vaulted pine ceilings with recessed lights. Windows floor to ceiling (water view)Wood blinds. No opportunity for drapes/curtains/chandeliers. Limited wall space due to open floor plan and fireplace. By all this I mean the furniture makes the greatest statement in the room as there is not so much accessorizing going on.

DR has light teak table and china hutch.

Current LR furniture is sort of lodge/rustic style? two sofas, two chair and a halfs, large ottoman. Don't really need all this seating any more. Wondering about a sectional.

I am drawn to Scand. furniture (love my Ekornes Stressless Chairs!) but not going too far into Contemporary.

What "styles" should I browse if I want to put together a look with maybe leather furniture that will still fit my Alaskan Rainforest home? I can't figure out what it would be called. PS What does Transitional Style mean?
