During the day, the pink bulbs probably stand out more than at night when they are lit; why not string some clear ones with the pink ones, that would soften the look; I once used a triple strand of different size bulbs and it looked really nice. It seems to me that copper tones have some pink in them .

Thanks for the reply. Actually, the pink lights look the same as the white ones when not lit. They are basically clear. I'm not sure if my original post was well worded. I have some trees that have all pink lights and some that have all white. Any other ideas for colors of lights?

Not a new idea, but I think there is only one way to find out, and that is to actually see it in the dark. It sounds like the copper and pink won't be together directly, so it may still work.

Can you even see the bows at night? I imagine copper bows during the day and the pink lights at night, but not both at the same time. Am I wrong?

I am thinking the same thing as houseful....I dont think it will matter.

You can see the bows at night, because we put a spotlight on the front door, which somewhat illuminates the front of the house. (also, the front door wreath has copper and gold balls, so the copper is definitely noticeable)
