I have a 20 year old built in subzero side by side in my kitchen. The motor is 3 years old. Although it is not the style I would pick if I designed the kitchen, it is what it is. The one thing I do not like about it is the black glossy panel - I would like to give the kitchen an update, but the black of the fridge seems to dictate what direction I can go in. Does anyone know whether I can change out the panel of a subzero? I would probably go with stainless as I like the clean white/stainless look in a kitchen.
