I used a single handle. Friends who see the kitchen for the first time ask, "Where is the DW?" I am glad I splurged and paneled it. It makes for such a clean look around the sink. It allows all the attention to be drawn to the sink.

Sorry, this is the best picture I have. The DW is the cabinet to the left of the sink. I used a single handle because the panel looks like one big door.

I know this isn't what you asked about, but be careful when you choose your DW and have the cabinets built. I read the specs for mine online and looked at the size of the DW and it was slightly less than 24 inches deep, so I assumed it would fit in a standard bank of 24 inch deep cabinets. Unfortunately after the cabinets were in and the DW installed, it sticks out about an inch. I read the paperwork that came with the DW and hidden in the specs it of course says to make the cabinets 25 inches deep. I don't know what you do about that if you buy stock cabinets though, since they only come 24 inches deep. I guess you push them out from the wall an inch.
