Just had mine installed yesterday. Boiled water for my coffee this morning in 75 seconds using the Speed Boost setting, and cooked up some scrambled eggs very soft and creamy. So excited to use it this Christmas break. It's streaky though, I need to find a cleaner. Will look on the boards.

abandy, we clean ours with Windex All-Purpose with Vinegar and a microfiber cloth. Once in awhile, we use the Ceramabryte ceramic cooktop cleaner. We also use a silicon mat when we cook with unenameled cast iron, because the cast iron seems to leave some sort of residue on the cooktop (not to mention it can scratch)

We use rubbermaid's commercial blue glass/mirror cloths on the cooktop to take care of the streaks after wiping the top down with a wrung out soapy sponge. The blue cloths amazingly clean windows and mirrors w/o cleaner - one wet followed by one dry and it's sparkling. We bought them in a box of 12 and shared them with others.

What good suggestions. I really like the idea of the silicon mat with the iron cookware. I think iron and carbon steel pans get "seasoned" on the outside surface as much as the inside and that is what seems to be leaving the residue on my induction cook top. I tried a paper towel under the iron but DH was sure it was going to ignite. My cooktop (Bosch) surface does get pretty hot, too hot to touch when you first remove a pan.

I think my window cleaners use those blue clothes; I'll have to ask if they are made by Rubbermaid.
