Hello, I'm trying to decide if I should paint and/or stain my kitchen cabinets. I was thinking of doing a java gel stain on the bottoms, and then painting the uppers white, but I am not sure if my kitchen is too small for this or not. I originally wanted to do all of the cabinets in the dark gel stain, but I think it would make my kitchen look too dark... any thoughts? The light wood laminate flooring will stay.
