Thought I looked at every faucet made! They look interesting. I only found one review and was one star. I would not base my decision on one review, so hopefully, someone owns one.

I have a Watermark faucet in my powder room. I love it. The faucet is polished nickel and has been easy to care for. No complaints here. Made in the USA too, Brooklyn I believe.

Thank you, both. I finally found a faucet I really like but don't want to have to change it a few years down the road. I only found one or two reviews here that were positive and really searched for a long time yesterday. Gemini, can I ask you what phrase you used to google?

Watermark faucet review - I only found the one. I was on my phone and my laptop isn't pulling it up right now.... Go figure Macintosh...
BTW - I love my Waterstone faucet - also made in the USA and looks like in the same price range.
I didn't find many reviews of WS - but everyone on GW raved about their WS.

I have a polished nickel watermark faucet - it's gorgeous and I love it. It has a really nice feel to it as well.

Oooooo, what a happy thread for me! Thank you all for the info, and thank you gemini for the google suggestion. Wouldn't you know, I always search the reverse: "review of..." I will remember to try that the next time I'm stuck. To tell you the truth, I'm not even gunna look at that one!

Same for the Waterstone. I did not find any reviews, only the GW positives. We will want to hear how you like it.

My DM convinced me to go with the Waterstone - I thought it was too expensive. I still ogle it everyday! It is so well made. I will be watching your posts as bathrooms are next.

Currently, thinking of going Chicago faucets for the bathrooms.

Retuned watermark bathroom products because of poor plating of satin Nickel finish , discolored and spotting pattern to finish and in general lack of quality. The worse thing was water mark puts there name in half inch letters all over the faucet face plate. Free advertising in your home. Problems with most of the items I purchased. Poor customer service with company too.

Don't buy Watermark!!!! I bought it at the suggestion of my designer, Jim Howard and we are so very unhappy with it. Our showers are terrible now - low pressure, difficult to maneuver, cracked handheld shower in both showers. We are considering tearing out the walls and replacing with something reliable. Their products are terrible - read the online reviews - all have similar experience. Don't buy it!!!!!

I am dismayed at the negative comments. Watermark used to be such a great company back in the day. Don't mix up Watermark and Waterstone. They are completely different companies. Waterstone enjoys a stellar record in terms of customer satisfaction.

Only finished in Brooklyn - most components are from China - I'd stay away.

We spent more than $1400 for a Watermark kitchen faucet in 2017. So far we've had to change the hot-water cartridge twice. (The cartridge is the mechanical "guts" of a faucet.) Although I'm often able to do my own plumbing repairs, this job defeated me and required a two-man team of plumbers on both occasions -- at a cost of about $250 each time. The plumber says that the Watermark cartridge appears to be a poor-quality Asian product. The company made me jump through hoops before they'd honor their "lifetime" warranty on the cartridges. Another strike against Watermark is that the finish quickly deteriorated and it looks like something that cost a small fraction of $1400. The next time a new cartridge is required, we'll simply replace the faucet.

I could have written Allen's post, above! I'm so irked that the darned thing cost so much and the company spiel gave me the impression that it was well-made with good materials. We're ready to buy a new faucet now....which one?

So sad to hear these comments. Watermark was once a great company back in the day. FYI, I believe most high quality cartridges are sourced in Germany these days.

I would suggest avoiding Watermark at any cost. They charge an extremely high price and if you ever have an issue with the faucet they will do anything to avoid processing a warranty claim. They are very rude and will blame any problem on something else to avoid having to provide a replacement faucet, or even part. There are plenty of other vendors out there and you should definitely go with anyone else.
