It looks like under our windows we will have a 4 inch backsplash. The counters are jet mist (dark) and the cabinets are medium cherry. I wanted to do a white subway tile. What do you think? I'm pretty simple. I also liked the marble tile too.

The range will have a grill (it's 36" wide). We can get a 5" or 10" riser that would be between the windows. I'm wondering if it would look odd we put tile above that?
