Bedroom furniture, Kincaid or Durham

We are about to purchase furniture for our master bedroom. We are interested in Durham's "Hudson's Falls" (antique rye, arch panel bed) and Kincaid's "Chateau Royale" (panel bed). Would appreciate hearing your experiences with these furniture brands and/or collections.

Thanks in advance.

I have both and definitely feel the Durham is better quality. If the prices are similar, I would go with the Durham.

We bought a Durham bedroom set about 7 years ago (Saville Row) and the quality is great : )

We have Durham's Chateau Fontaine and have been happy with the quality, too.

Price-wise, the Kincaid set is about $1000.00 less than the Durham. Husband likes the Kincaid better, but I think I like the Durham. The biggest frustration is that I cannot look at either collection in person within driving distance. I hate to pay a substantial amount of money for something that I have not seen.

Anybody else had any experience with Kincaid? I have read mixed reviews....

My grown daughter has a Kincaid bedroom set. She really likes it a lot. I don't know anything about Durham furniture but it looks nice.

I have a Durham Bedroom set called Royal Cottage that is sand white and the Maple drawers are so sturdy and I love it. I was in love with the Saville Row but never had an off-white bedroom set and I wanted a lot of furniture in a tiny room. If my bedroom was bigger, I would have went with the Mahogany/Cherry look.
