My most recent purchase is very similar to that one. Mine is a cream color. I got it at Daybeds.com. It was a little over 300 and they had free shipping. It is a beautiful and very sturdy bed. I don't know about Ballards, but do read description carefully. Some sites sell the bed and the link springs separately.

I have the exact same daybed. I found it at an ordinary furniture store which is no longer in business. I have seen it within the past year in another furniture store. I just can't remember where.

The quality if very good. I searched for a long time to find a metal bed that had the qualities of the much more expensive daybeds I seemed to have been more attracted too.

For your information, I think I paid around $350-$400 for it.

That bed is beautiful. I'm considering a daybed with pop-up trundle for our guest room versus a futon or sofa sleeper. I figure the daybed will be more flexible (2 separate beds or pushed together to sleep 2) and more comfortable. Are daybeds generally x-long twin sized to accommodate adults? And, is my assumption that they are more comfortable that futons correct?

I believe that daybeds are usually just twin beds. I knows that the ones that I have bought use standard twin mattresses. I would love to find an extra long twin daybed, when combined with a pop-up trundle it would make a king sized bed.
