I used knobs on all doors and pulls on all drawers. Sorry I don't have great photo's. Here is one of the island and shows the pulls on the large, deep drawers. On 12 & 18" drawers I used just one pull.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but we used a mix of knobs and 9 or 10" pulls. In this pic, you can sort of see how the long pull would look on a 'long' drawer on the glass cabinet (I know, not a drawer!) But this shows a mix of drawer/cabinet sizes. For us, we mixed up our cabinet sizes a LOT to make it usable, but then used all same size handles to make it seem less jumbled/more symmetrical. The knobs we just threw in for fun!

Thanks for your responses and especially the pictures. I am still undecided but your pictures really help. After my re-facing is done I'll try to post before and after pictures. I hope my kitchen looks as nice as both of yours and the many kitchens on this site. (mine is tiny compared to most of the ones shown on this site)
