Sorry - I can't figure out how to post the images to this forum! Cutting and pasting the link above would mean you could see the tile = basically, would a cream/tan tile work, or is it better to find a grey for eggshell caesarstone?

Sorry for bumping, but am desparate here - lots of tears over this reno!!!

Everyone's monitor reads color differently so it's hard to make informed comments on pale tans and beiges and grays. Are you able to get a sample board of the tile you like? Then you can see how it works with the your counters and your cabinets and your lighting situation. I agree with your friend that there is a danger of the tile looking peach or pink. A lot of people don't decide on a splash until everything else is in.

I love the shape that you picked. It will add a nice layer texture to your kitchen.

One final thing - no more crying! A new kitchen is supposed to be fun. ; )

sounds pretty neutral. what about using some color in your backsplash? warm it up with some red tones.

Don't know what your budget is but I agree that a bit of color would be good. I am partial to Oceanside Glasstile (used it in my last kitchen) and think one of the blends that has an "eggshell" color in it would look great. Is there a color in a room nearby or in your kitchen accessories you could also pick up?

I love the eggshell color. Have you thought about using the same caesarstone as the backsplash? I think that is what I will be doing with mine (white ash).

We are also using Caesarstone eggshell in the kitchen of the modern house we are building. we have decided to use a glass Daltile, 2x2" in the color Morning Sun.
