HELP!! What do I do now?!!! We've just installed a D shaped corner sink (cut the quartzite) and the faucet was installed not to the side but in back of it. I didn't think it would be an issue but now I find myself leaning over it because the faucet is a little too far back. Has this happened to anyone? Noobody told me that with "D" shaped sinks the faucet should be installed to the side of the sink and not behind it although having the faucet on the side would feel awkward too!

Unless you really can't reach it, it sounds like you just need some time to adjust to the further reach.

Muscle memory is at work here. I know I had my share of issues because things were "different" than they were before, but I adjusted. I think the one that comes to mind for me is that my faucet doesn't have the reach that my old faucet had, and I was just splashing water all over the place when rinsing pots and pans, etc. I've adjusted, and I suspect you will too.

Well, I hope you do, especially since you have holes drilled in your counter!
