I have been looking for some adjustable (or cloth corded) pendants for a long time. I want something with a matte or opal glass that is about 7" - 9" wide. My kitchen has a sloped ceiling and I'm looking to add two pendants over my island.

I recently came across a couple of lights that may work, but am a little nervous about committing without seeing them in person first. Has anyone seen/actually have either of these in their kitchen?

Also, I'm looking at ordering them from Bowery Lighting in New York. Anyone have any experience with them?
