Hi. This is my first post on this site, but it seems to be a great resource! You all have wonderful design ideas and I'm hoping you can help me.

We are in the process of purchasing a new home and I am feeling really overwhelmed with all the paint and decor decisions to make...especially since we don't own the home yet. I would like to have some idea of what I'd like to do so I don't waste too much time after we close next month.

I thought I would start with the kitchen. The house is only thirteen years old so everything is still newish. The kitchen is a nice size with decent cabinets. Unfortunately, we can't afford to do a major renovation right now. I would LOVE new flooring/countertops/SS appliances, but that is not in the budget. Instead I'd like to put in a backsplash, paint, put up new window treatments and buy a kitchen table and counter stools/chairs.

I would really appreciate any and all feedback. It would be even better if you could show me some photos os colors and desin ideas. Thanks so much in advance!
