Range Hood Insert Recommendation

Hello,

We have a mantle style hood and need a new insert. Can anyone recommend a 42" one that has around 600 cfm, and does not require me to purchase all sorts of extras like external blower, trim kit, etc. I'd like to spend nor more than $700, if possible.

My head hurts from searching!

Here is the closest thing I know of. There are a lot more details that will be needed before you can order anything. This one is a little over budget, but I am not sure you will find one in budget. Maybe someone else will have some better info.

Rob, that is just about perfect! I always like to call and verify that the product will work for me, but it looks like it will. I am waiting for a credit for my defective hood, but once that goes through I'll be ready to purchase.

If you can find this on sale, as I did 2 years ago, it's an amazing hood insert: Sirius SU 901.

We have a smaller Sirius insert and have been happy with it.
