OK.. we have decided on a 900-1200cfm range hood, on an outside wall vented directly out for maximum performance. Now we need a solution to provide the make-up air... what has everyone else done about this?? Install another vent near the cooktop? Somewhere else in the kitchen? Somewhere else in the house? Through the furnace? Our general contractor has never heard of make-up air for a powerful range hood.

I would be very interested in what others have done and how well their solution worked. Thanks so much!!
