I'm planning a bar area with a beverage center in the dining room and wanted to see if there are any issues with the layout. I wanted to doublecheck how much space I should have between the wall and the beverage center and also between the glass cabinets to the window molding. Would you suggest stand alone versus built-in for the beverage center? I also don't like the 6" spice drawers - can anyone think of something else for that space. The plan is to have granite counters (matching the kitchen and passthru to dining room) for the bar area including a granite backsplash. With the beverage center and 6" cabinet and fillers - is there enough support for the counters? I also think I want to change to 2 deep drawers for the bench area instead of 3. Thanks for all advice.
