We are moving into this contemporary home built in 1998 and I want to makeover the kitchen because I do not like the pickled cabinets. Any suggestions his to update this kitchen. We will be placing a large rustic table in the breakfast area because we make this our making dining area since we are using the dining room as a den. I want to replace the pendant lights and will be putting aluminum counter stools. Any ideas as to what I should do with cabinets, paint color and counters. Counters are currently well maintained black granite, i wouldn't mind keeping the counter tops. I will add pictures of adjacent living room to get idea of color. Thanks!
