why are there two shower heads?

I noticed that more often than not whenever rainhead shower heads are installed there is one that is ceiling mounted and one on the wall. Is this just for an option? or is there another more technical reason? Please advice.

Love the look. I just curious............................thanks

yes, it does provide an option - for a "Rainfall" effect vs. a typical showerhead... but more often than not, we install dual showrheads so that a couple can bathe together. a final bonus is that the raindome can add moisture (or provide a cooling effect) when using this as a steam shower.

What type of material is the counter top, wall tile and stone?

it is a volcanic stone, similar to basalt. very consistent coloration, but fairly porous so it needs to be well-sealed.

the countertop is poured concrete to match.

What is the floor tile. I have the same colored concrete vanity and tub surround and similar stone in my shower. Now my floor needs replacing and I'm paralyzed. Thinking about ceramic wood look in a rustic but I love what you've done.
