I think these are juveniles that were born here, there are five or six of them. There were also at least two adult females and one male, but I haven't seen the male in a week or two.

Great shots! You wonder how they can see to get home in the dark.

Those feeders were only 3/$5.99 at Lowes, one each red, green, and blue, 14 oz capacity. They really came in handy to cover the entire yard quickly when the resident male proved himself entirely capable of defending four other larger feeders. The bottle unscrews, the base pops apart into two pieces, and the flowers snap in and out, so they can be thoroughly cleaned very easily. The birds love 'em and took to them instantly despite the odd colors.

This is farmland and the hummingbirds appear to live in the old mulberry trees not 100' from the feeders. Those trees and all the fallen fruit attract a wealth of tiny insects and fruitflies for them. The crows and jays seem to be content with livestock grain, cat food, sunflower seed, and what they find in the woods and pasture, so, knock on wood, I haven't seen any bother the hummingbirds yet.
