My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Window treatments

I love our windows in the living room, but at night you can see right in. They are 120" across and 86" in height. Most rods stop at 120" and I think we would need one that is at least 130". Pottery Barn has an XXL rod that's in our price range. Love Restoration Hardware's stuff, but it's too expensive. I was also thinking sheerish panels. I don't want to take away the focal point of our living room.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    It is possible to hide some rod seams with the support brackets. My neighbor used a single long piece of narrow PVC pipe and painted it to avoid the seams.
    We had shears in our front rooms; they provided some privacy during the day, but none at night when the lights were on.
