I have the same question, is this regular tempered glass, painted on the back? How was this attached to the wall? How thick is the glass?

Thanks! It is a tempered glass. We went with 1/4" thick and it is back painted. There is a local glass company that paints it. It is just adhered with silicon. A great alternative to tile though with glass it makes more sense to push the outlets and switched up to the underside of the cabinets since adding openings is expensive and ruins the clean look. With tempered all cuts and holes have to be done prior to tempering to it requires careful templating. I believe the paint is a lacquer of some kind.

Backsplash is beautiful!! I would imagine it's easy to clean as well!!
