Hi Elizabeth! Thanks so much for your speedy response!!! It is certainly gorgeous, and very different from the usual subway tile backsplash. I'm actually in the process of deciding on a backsplash for my own kitchen renovation. True to form I have a harder time making my own decisions than for my clients. I'm working with Artistic Tile here in NY and I've seen the tiles in person. The rustic/beat up nature of the tile is what attracts me for my white cabinet/white marble countertop kitchen--I have used brick on one wall and reclaimed oak beams on the ceiling. I definitely don't have enough height on the backsplash for a full repeat, so I am considering one of the Nord patterns. But I do want a gray and white tile, and I'm leaning toward the "lavan" color since it is whiter and would work better with the color scheme in the room.
