Thank you but not what color. What type? Sandless or Sand in? Since the tile is so thin I didn't know if one would be stronger than the other and also to attaching to the wall, adhesive or what to use for adhesion?

Sandless is the one you should go otherwise it might scratch the tile so you might experience some problems on the tile surface. Any kind of thinset or mastic would work for this tile as it is not heavy. The tiles itself is anatural mother of pearl which makes it very duranble and strong, this material is more dense than the granite as nature so almost doesnt absorp rhats why its great for backsplash also.

Hello, I've heard of after applying the grout, the tiles have a haze that does not come off and The tiles are not as iridescent. I'm about to put up 30ft of the 8mm mother of pearl tile. Should I use regular white grout or epoxy grout, so that I won't have this problem?

Hello, I'm in the process of finishing up myremodel.i brought this mother of pearl 8mm tile. I know I'm supposed to use a white thin set but do I use a white non sanded grout to get that clean look? I'm getting it put up on tomorrow.

Non-sanded white grout is recommended for mother of pearl tiles installation. It is perfect for clean look. Thanks..

So I just put up mother of pearl round penny tile today on my bathroom backsplash and I am struggling with the grout color. We tried a white grout on a sample and it made it difficult to see the tile.... It faded away. Then I tried a clear but that didn't work because of the webbing behind the tile which you could still see.

Now I am thinking of doing a contrast color so that the tile will still stand out. I like how it looks right now ungrouted and I would love to be able to keep the same look. Please help.

And my tile person thought if you don't use a grout with sand in it that you would still see the webbing.
