I live in Orange County, California I just purchased a shrub at the Fullerton Arboretum's Annual Plant Sale. I was told the plant was native to Australia and the common name was the Wax plant. Another member called it a Rice plant.

From what I've found on-line it looks to be a Pink Phebalium nottii. Any guidance as to planting and care? Is this the Rice or Wax plant?
