You have a Hybrid nobile type Dendrobium. Not a good subject for Spag. potting mix. Read the thread about the leaves down the page a bit then find some complete culture notes for this type of orchid that are written for Florida.

I have this dedrobium ... Can you tell me if this is a keike ... Can it be remove? I saw that is going to bloom soon

In the first picture of this post you can see how the dendrobium came full of moss. In the last picture i add You can see that i removed some of that moss.
Picture 1 you see that a 1/4 is removed of moss , picture 2 you see a baby that it was cover with the moss, in picture 3 those cane were cover too, i don't know if they are growing but they look green, picture 4 that is how is rigth now ... I don't if i can removed all the moss since they are blooming now. i look don't in other thread but didn't found and answer. Thank you for any suggestion ðÂÂÂ

They can bloom a long time. But they are beautiful and hard to disturb. Cut way back on the watering. Enjoy the bloom.

Get all the materials together to repot. Pot, medium, and clips. It is much easier to show someone than tell them. Join the orchid society or ask a commercial grower if they have classes.

Many other benefits to join a local club. You will learn much faster...

Hi everyone, just and updated of my orchid...

Since i remove the keiki and i wanted to grow together with the mother i discover this little think on the plant it was cover with moss and that is why is so white, so i removed everytnig and i hope it will be save for the bulb to grow healthy. The level of the moss was above the green wrapping.

Any idea if this is a spike or bulb?
