I've use powdered orthene. A systemic that works well. I do not know about using it indoors.

Yeah....that's my big worry. Most of these treatments say outdoor only. The problem is outdoor here means 20 degree weather. Pick your day as to whether that's with or without snow. His suggestion was, since the garage usually will stay in the high 50's at night, I can spray them there and leave them overnight to dry before I bring them back indoors. No kids or pets to worry about once they are back inside.

Hi - I don't know about Safari, but I use bayer natria insect/disease/mite control and it works really well. Saved one of my plants less than a year ago from a mealy bug infestation I couldn't get rid of. It is safe for both indoor and outdoor use.

Yes, nightstars, I have great success with Bayer as well - it is a systemic also.
