Pearlbegonia - Neo. 'Royal Flush' was bred from two species,Neo pauciflora (seed parent) and Neo.johannis (Pollen Parent)
In the notes in the BCR (http://registry.bsi.org/?genus=NEOREGELIA&id=6874#6874 ) where it was originally registered, the shape, size and colour of the plant pictured are clearly described.

You also need to take into consideration some other factors such as what conditions these plants are grown under; if they are in a pot they are restricted to only the nourishment in the potting mix provided, and this varies from grower to grower.

On the other hand if these plants are grown in the garden, the roots are free to roam and search out what ever nourishment they require, that's why garden grown brom's in most areas are often larger than the same plants grown in a pot.

Consideration should also be give to the degree of light under which the plant is grown as this will have a big effect on the foliage colour as well.

I'm not personally familiar with this plant but its Neo. pauciflora parent does have stolons so it's possible these may have been passed on to it offspring.

The history and pictures of many hybrids can often be found on the FCBS (Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies) Photo index at http://www.fcbs.org/pictures.htm or the Bromeliad Cultivar Registry at http://registry.bsi.org/ But again beware of the variations in the colour quality of photographs as these can sometimes be misleading.
