Look up the F.C.B.S. (Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies) site and then select the Photo Index. From here you have a choice of species or cultivars; select species and just look through the list which is in alphabetical order and easy to navigate.

Click on Ae. tessmannii which is No. 204 on the list and you will find 12 pictures showing the flowers of the various forms of this plant.

If you haven't used this site before, let me say that it's a wonderful resource containing a wealth of information and thousands of pictures of both cultivars and species.

The BSI (Bromeliad Society International) is another site with a fantastic Photo Index but these are all registered cultivars only and doesn't have any species.
