I'm fairly sure it's Tango. Tango has the tan pedicels, at least mine do. I'm pretty sure that none of us is ever going to be able to buy La Paz, Tango is lovely anyway, it has more pink in it.

This is the main reason I think it's Tango. Also the flower shape seems to be a match.

Blooms are very similar to LaPaz. Some say they are the same, except the tan pedicles, which were visible in the first photo you posted.

Sorry if the extra photo was a nuisance. I was trying to be helpful and was perhaps overly excited to finally have a camera.

I label all my hippis in pencil, just in case they turn out to be something else. Thank you for confirming my thoughts. I'm enjoying this graceful beauty regardless of the name, but like knowing the names of things. I figured when I bought the bulb that it could be Lima, La Paz, or Tango and that I'd be pleased with any of the three.

No nuisance! The bulb was ID'd in the first photo. Your second photo just confirmed it. Tango is the only blooms I've seen discussed here with tan pedicles. If you didn't have a camera...where did you get the first photo? :-)
