pruning geraniums

I have several geraniums that went without water for over a week in a greenhouse due to malfunction of water system. The leaves turned brown and blooms died. I have pruned them all back hard and they are all green. I have watered and am hoping they will come back. Any wisdom anyone can give me on what to do to get them revived.
