8 days into hydroponics- helpppp

Hi everyone,

First time with hydroponics and first time posting.

I lost broccoli and I want to have a clearer understanding as to why. They were quite leggy and the stems and leaves just seemed to lose turgor and collapsed.

My tomatoes are now dying in a similar manner to brocolli after supposedly resolving the issue that killed broccoli (mold). How do I save them? Do I need to add back nutes asap since replacing infected water?

Why are the Cucumbers so much better than the others?

What is this yellowish stuff now appearing on the starter plugs?

Background: I have an 18 gallon tote with 6 net pots. For now I have 3 net pots in use. One with 2 Cucumbers, one with 2 tomatoes (will transfer to separate buckets), and one with 2 kale. The room is usually around 79 F and 25-30% humidity. I was using a 60 Watt bulb but the plants were leggy so I switched to LED. I spray w half h2o2 half water solution (about 15%). I have a humidifier and a far going.

The first blunder was adding an infected bulb to an extra net pot and the whole system was infected with white mold, which was growing on the net pots, starter plugs and in the water. I replaced the water with new water and 10ml industrial strength h2o2 per gallon water. This is when the broccolis died and I removed them.

I am waiting a few days before I replace the nutes. I also cooled the water with a cold water bottle and turned up the air pump. Since I switched to LED my cucumbers finally sprouted their 3rd rough looking leaf. But, now the tomatoes are dying. I am also noticing new yellow stuff on all the root starters.

Please let me know if anyone has answers to my above questions plus and extra tips!
