The subject of my post says it all: I sprayed an insecticidal soap on the potted impatiens plant Ive been house sitting as it showed signs of spider mites. It was only afterward that I realized the soap had a warning about certain varieties being sensitive. Oops.

The whole plant slowly went limp - right to the base. I removed the whole thing, but the root ball is still in the soil along with a small stump of the original plant. Im wondering.... what are the chances the plant will regrow? Slim to none? Im experimenting out of curiousity but wondering if anyone has any insight or experience.
