It is a weeping form. Height is dependent on where the graft is located and how the tree has been trained but can range from around 3' (for a low graft) to as much as 8' tall if a high graft and/or trained more vertically. Width unpruned can be as much as 8-12' but more typically around 5-6'.

Yes, the graft would be low-- near the ground, or (hopefully not, but sadly often so) below the dirt in the pot. Make sure when you plant it you only put the dirt up to where the roots flare out.

I have Tamukeyama in my yard. It's red in the spring and early summer, then dark red-purple in the summer, then red again in the fall.
