Correct name is Ascda. Adisak Blue, maybe just a typo. Gorgeous colour! Now a Vanda after the great renaming.

I want to see a shot of the roots on the ground!

Beautiful color, love the deep purples. But I just can't deal with the roots so I will only buy the small one...not sure what the call them now!

Hi Jane, there are no boundaries to the the great renaming.
Ascocendra has gone the way of the Dodo....and
Neofinetia falcata is now Vanda falcata.
RF Orchids which might be Vanda heaven is somewhere in Florida.

Here is the plant. Definitely a windowsill item for one of Mitt Romney's mansions. It starts out small and then it grows on you, literally.

At this point the end of the gaggle just rests on top of a pot full of bark/lave rock. None of it is covered with the media. I'm waiting to see if they'll dig in or continue to be air roots.
