This dendrobium surprised me. I have read that it blooms on leafless canes so I did not think it would bloom for me anytime soon. However, mine bloomed on a leafed cane. The flower has a thicker texture than I thought it would. It is fragrant with a spicy floral scent. Right now it is a small, compact plant - adorable. It is less than 6 inches tall. If the pictures I have found online are correct, it will eventually be long, lanky, and untidy. Oh well...
