Congratulations! I'd never seen them till some were placed on the Mill Pond at the Buffalo River.

You seem to have a family, with one younger (darker colored) in the mix.

I answered earlier but must not have hit submit. You are lucky to get a picture at all. I have not seen wild swans except in Yellowstone Park. I have only seen them in parks or at the zoo.

From what I've read, they had at one time almost completely disappeared in the wild from the US but are making a comeback. Still protected though.

I didn't think they were real at first because they don't move around a lot so I thought someone had put decoys out in the middle of the field. lol

They're huge! Their wingspan is up to around 8 feet. I got to see them flying in to land in the field from about 100 yards away and it was pretty cool to watch them.

Were you able to see if they were all tagged ? I've never seen one that wasn't (yet)

I couldn't see their feet but they didn't have anything around their necks. Where were the ones tagged that you saw?
I haven't seen them for a few days. : (
