I'm unsure as to how cold it got for me in Fresno but I did see a bit of damage on one of my archontophoenix and my smallest phoenix rupicola. This is also my first year with seedling bismarkia nobilis and they were unfazed. Jubaea Chilensis also showed no damage, as is expected.

Some of my succulents were damaged, but the damage was hit and miss. Some Senecio cylindricus were damaged while others nearby weren't. A small Ensete ventricosa was damaged, as was expected, but the damage is just cosmetic. Overall, it wasn't too bad of a freeze.

How cold you think it over there? From looking at the temp map it looked like you guys got hit harder then we did but it wouldn't surprise me if the temps weren't about the same. I actually dont really see anything except bananas etc damaged. All the king palms etc are planted in the warmest locations so they usually wont get any damage unless it out of the norm cold.

Fresno definitely got colder than some of the outlying areas. I was at my family's home in Chowchilla during the entire time the freeze moved through. Typically, it gets much colder in Chowchilla because it is rural and lower in elevation, but our Jacaranda tree in Chowchilla shows no damage. It usually begins turning a red-bronze color with the first sign of frost. Even flowering aloes were undamaged in Chowchilla, which is why I was so surprised when I returned to Fresno and noticed the damage. My guess is it must have gotten to the high 20s. 27 or 28 perhaps.
