Hello gardenweb. Four days ago I pulled this mexican fan palm out of the ground in Los Angeles, I got a pretty substantial amount of the roots. I transported it home, bare-roots. I damped a washcloth and wrapped the roots with it, then put a black back over the roots to protect them from the light, and to keep the moister in. Anyways my question.... Is it still alive after being pulled out of the ground, and having its roots sit in a bag for 4 days? I am using Miracle Gro. I tried getting a bright enough picture so that you can really see the color.
