Don't have much to show in the "I" category--just a repeat of Beth's good picture of what she calls Ice Cream, but I usually call Memoire--but I'll defer to her on this occasion. : )

Ice Cream (also known as Memoire)

    Intrigue is gorgeous, Beth.

I lost both Ingrid and Intrigue last winter. Your lovely photos make me miss them, Bet.

I have a few Is left though.

What intriguing names for those lovely " I" roses.
    Love every one of them.
Have to say, Isolde Hit, certainly "Hits" you in the eye. :>)

Beth, Love your reds...especially Ingrid Bergman & Ink Spots! Your Irish Cream and both your and Kate's Ice Cream look delicious :). Seil, That Isolde Hit absolutely glows, and also love your soft Ivory Tower.

    Only one I for me:

    Intrigue

Wow I was amazed at the tall centers on Beth's Ida and Seil's Ivory Tower. These look like exhibition roses. Isolde Hit's colors are so vibrant. My only "I" is Irresistible and I don't know if I have a picture.

    Found one....Here's "Irresistible."

Dublinbay ~~ what is that nifty white flower with ferny foliage? It looks so familar.

Seil ~~ i fell in love with your pictures of 'Ivory Tower'. Is it now repeating? Still prone to mildew and blackspot? TIA

    Beautiful roses everybody!

I'm lovin' that ISOLDE HIT mini Seil. Every time I see you posting it I wish I could find one around here.

    Thanks everyone!

Ivory Tower is lovely but I would not call it an exhibition rose. I don't think it has quite enough petals and it does not hold it's form well. It is getting healthier as it matures but still gets some disease. It is repeating but has a long cycle in between flushes.

Isolode Hit has been a good little garden mini and makes a bright spot where ever it is.

Iris, that is the tail end of the blooming cycle of white larkspur. But it looks attractive in full bloom or when it has lost all but a handful of blooms at the end of the season.

Thanks Dublinbay. I should have recognized the seed pods.
Seil, thanks for the rundown on 'Ivory Tower'.

    Irene Watts - absolutely charming

Love the pictures of Ice Cream and Ingrid Bergman! I'm interested in trying both. I actually shoveled Intrique a few years ago, because not only did it mildew and blackspot, but it also rusted! I'm forgiving, but that was ridiculous, lol.

I don't have any I roses to add. Ivory Fashion is new for me though, so maybe next year. :)

These are wonderful! I especially love Ink Spots and Intrigue. How is Intrigue as a plant? Would it grow in zone 5? And I've got to mention Imposter - so delicate and pretty!

Here's Iceberg. I had it in full morning to mid-afternoon sun with well-watered, well-drained soil and it foundered. Rather than shovel-prune, I moved it to the front - a spot that's shaded until noon and in hot, direct sun after that, and tends to be quite dry. It flourished!

Incognito - very pretty mini I ordered last spring after seeing it in last year's alphabet thread!

and Incantation - another new one from last year. Paul Barden. So far I love it!

Incognito is a wonderfully shaped and colored mini!

Iceberg is almost always blooming throughout my city.

That's lovely!! I think Iceberg must be an amazing rose - so many blooms!

Iceberg does great in Southern California, because we don't have to worry about blackspot. It's such a common rose, but I love it, because it reminds me of snow and is cooling to the eyes on a hot day.

We do love our Intrigue, don't we!

    Definitely!
