I recently bought a couple of Dwarf Sunspot Sunflower plants that already have flowers in full bloom. My intention was to save the seeds so I can propagate them myself.

I followed every instruction in the internet from covering the flowers with a plastic to moving it to a place not accessible by birds and insects (indoor).

After the flowers have wilted and the sides turned brown I cut them off the stem as instructed but there is no seed. I cut the dried flower open cross section and still did not find any seed.

Does Dwarf Sunspot Sunflower yield seed? If yes how or where can I find it?
