VC and Plant Cuttings!

Ive raised plants for years but have only been a worm farmer for 3 yrs. Because living in cold winter climate and for economical factors I take cuttings from treasured plants that wont survive my winters and keep them inside till spring. When I first started adding vc to plant cuttings for rooting purposes I went with the nominal avg. 15-25% of the mix. Some cuttings did not satisfy my expectations. So recently I started using a 50-50 mix of course vermiculite and VC for rooting purposes. For the plants I tried this on it was like putting them on steroids compared to previous attempts. But once these cuttings have rooted to my satisfaction I then repot with the original % of mix.
