Ordered Vent A Hood

Ordered the under cabinet Vent A Hood (PRH9) today in the same color (RAL 5011) as my BlueStar. It takes 8 weeks to get it, so hopefully we don't burn up the OTR microwave before that time :) Thanks for the advice here. Will post pictures when it arrives and DH gets it installed.

Congratulations. Was there a particular reason you ordered the Vent A Hood vs. competing models like Modern Air, Prestige & Blue Star? My biggest concern is what type of hood will be easiest to keep clean.

Are you doing anything about make up air?

Vent a hood came in under the cabinet models. We are retrofitting. Also VAH had great reviews here. I was impressed with the unique Magic Lung system. And finally, VAH and Bluestar were the only ones that came in RAL colors (750 choices) and I wanted it to match my range and wall oven (navy blue). I thought the VAH was a better choice over the BS. I don't know what we're doing about make up air, but DH is aware and has a plan (not my department). The hood estimate is 8 weeks. Btw pricing was pretty close with VAH and BS.
