Shrooms! Cool Beans! You not only have worms AND wee besties working for you but also mycelium, a whole other kingdom, or genre, or genus, or species, or something or other working hard for you. Lucky they volunteered for you. They are beautiful. They are doing their part to break down the material for you. They would not be there if there was not a job to do specific to their abilities. When the need for them is done they will disappear.

And they will feed your worms too. Just more stuff, using stuff to make more stuff. All this stuff eventually goes through the belly of the worms to end up as good stuff.

Stuff doesn't appear, stuff doesn't disappear, stuff reorganizes itself and changes.

Charity, isn't it great, you put paper and water, you get shrooms !

OK, they're not morels or truffles, but whatever. I think it's really great to see the power of nature. I'm amazed at the ability nature has to recycle. It's a pity we're manufacturing long lasting molecules, if only we used short lived ones the planet would absorb all our garbage in an endless vertuous cycle.
