range hood quesitons

would like to know distance between bottom of hood and stove top ... also the length of the "chimney". Thanks much.

Hi, This Range hood can be installed under a ceiling that is between 8-9 feet out of the box. If you would like to extend that to a 10 ceiling, you will need to also purchase a 10' extension with the hood which is available. Which ever way you decide to go with or without an extension, the gap between the hood and the stove top should be 28" to 31". The exact height will depend on how you install the hood. The chimney is telescoping to make installation easier.
